CHARGE NURSE REMOTE CLASS (VIA ZOOM)

REMOTE CLASS with an instructor

1.  Zoom platform.  You will need to establish an account (if no account yet) at: Zoom.US (from a desktop) or Zoom App (from mobile devices)

2.  You may access a remote class anywhere via a computer/mobile device with camera, internet access and microphone.   LATE PARTICIPANT MAY BE ASKED TO RESCHEDULE AT A LATER TIME.

3.  An email will be sent to you from "KMR Education" or one that identiifies the class being taken, 2 days before the class- you must have a personal email address in your registration (check Spam or Junk folder if not found in inbox).  Professional email gets blocked by the organization's web security

4.  At the completion of the class, staff must submit Time Adjustment/Correction Form to director/designee showing the date, time and description of class.  Time Adjustment/Correction Form is located in the HPMC Connect-->Departments-->Payroll or Education Department

Description:

Enhance your skills and techniques to be an effective charge nurse.  The program will discuss delegation, conflict resolution, chain of command and other strategies to manage your area.

Not required but PRIOR AUTHORIZATION FROM DIRECTOR/MANAGER IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND THIS CLASS AND GET COMPENSATED.  Submit a completely filled out Time Adjustment/Correction Form to your director/coordinator after the class with proof of completion.
