NEW HIRE BASIC DYSRHYTHMIA (EKG) TESTING

This is the new hire electrocardiogram (ECG) rhythm recognition testing.  RNs and monitor techs who work in the emergency department (ED), critical care areas (ICU), definitive observation unit (DOU), Telemetry, Labor and Delivery (L&D), Interventional Radiology (IR), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Cath Lab, Gastrointestinal Lab (GI Lab) and Nursing Office (Admin Nursing Supervisors) MUST take the EKG testing.

Must pass with a minimum score of 85%

Location: Doctor's Tower, A level, Education Training Center (ETC)

Sign ups for each class closes 2 days before the testing date.  Please make sure you sign up in a timely manner.

 PLEASE CONSULT WITH YOUR DIRECTOR/COORDINATOR PRIOR TO REGISTRATION TO AVOID OVERTIME IF TESTING AFTER ORIENTATION WEEK.
